WELCOME TO
MIDNIGHT BIRTH CLUB

I’m Jessie, birth and postnatal doula, and I’m here to help you navigate the overwhelm of new parenthood.

They say it takes a village to raise a child, but many parents, particularly in London, are finding themselves embarking on this beautiful rites of passage sorely lacking in the support they need to thrive and enjoy this magical time.

As a postnatal doula based in Notting Hill, I am here to help parents within my community to embark on this new chapter - whether it’s your first baby or your fourth - with confidence, support and a sense of wellbeing.

My role as a postnatal doula varies greatly depending on the family and their needs, so please have a read about the ways I can support you here.

I also offer a Postnatal WhatsApp Support service which is ideal for many parents.

As a parent to two small children, I am now focussing all my energy and passion into helping parents in the postnatal period. I am not currently taking on clients for Hypnobirthing and birth doula services.

I highly recommend Jessie. She has fantastic insight and knowledge and helped me after the birth of my daughter. I had a particularly bad birth and her support afterwards was priceless. I really felt listened to, fully supported and not judged.

I really don’t know what I would have done without her. I just wish I’d know about Midnight Birth Club before the birth of daughter.

    Thanks for everything Jessie

Jessie was a calming voice of experience and reassurance during a really tough postpartum period. She was always just a message away when I was struggling with breastfeeding my daughter and was open with her own experiences which really helped me build confidence in myself as a mother. She also referred me to resources to help with our feeding journey. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone wanting friendly, knowledgeable and positive support during their pregnancy and in the postpartum period.

Having Jessie’s support during the third trimester while I was weighing up whether or not to be induced, was invaluable. She is a really calm and reassuring person to chat to, and it was so helpful to have someone to speak to about how I felt about my birth. I had imagined a certain kind of birth, and when it looked like plans were going to change, it threw me into a bit of a panic. But Jessie was there to really listen to the things that made me afraid, and she helped me realise that a lot of the things I wanted for my birth were totally possible.

Taking Jessie’s hypnobirthing course was one of the best things I did to prepare myself for birth and new motherhood. I was sceptical at first, but after a few friends raved about hypnobirthing techniques, I decided to explore it more – and found the Midnight Birth Club course.

My partner and I knew very little about birth – in fact the only reference I really felt I had was from a few Friends episodes. Imagining going into the labour period without all of the stuff I now know – and importantly, my husband also now knows – is now a crazy thought.

Jessie’s knowledge is extensive, and she is able to answer every question you ask her (of which I had many) during the course, and is always available and supportive with queries at other points, too. After each session she sent really helpful reading recommendations, stats when I asked for them, breathing techniques and more. I feel comfortable with the knowledge I have on the decisions we may need to make, whether it’s pain relief, birth place or inductions.

This is one of the biggest events of your life and one of the maddest most magnificent things your body can do. To now go in with full knowledge of the process, with a birth partner who now knows how exactly he can support me – is a really empowering thing. Instead of being scared I feel confident, knowledgeable, supported and strong. Thank you Jessie!!

I cannot speak highly enough of Jessie and Midnight Birth Club! Coming into Jessie's four week hypnobirthing course I knew nothing about birth and even less about the importance of my role as a birth partner. But by the time the course was finished I felt knowledgeable, enlightened and confident and as a couple we now feel so much better placed to weigh up and make our own decisions about the birth. The amount of information that Jessie managed to pack into four sessions was amazing and covered everything from the science of birth, to the importance of hormones, birth plans, the role of the birth partner, pros and cons around your birthing options, affirmations, some all-important breathing techniques and plenty more in between. The sessions were engaging, well-delivered and Jessie's passion for the subject matter really came through.

I'd highly recommend the Midnight Birth Club to anyone who's looking to (in my case, massively!) level-up their knowledge and their birth prep. Whether you're a pregnant person or a birth partner the course is invaluable. Thanks so much Jessie.

I can’t begin to explain how much this course has taught me. I never thought I would say I feel ‘prepared for birth’ but that’s how I feel. Jessie provided us with a deep rooted understanding of the science behind birth which has helped me to understand what my body will go through and how I can help it to birth my baby without stress or fear. Jessie provided so many amazing techniques that I can use to stay calm during surges, and to take control of my birth entirely.

Every Mum (and dad) to-be should invest in this knowledge so they can have the most positive and powerful experience birthing their baby. Thanks so much Jessie!!!

I absolutely loved the hypnobirthing course I did with Jessie during the third trimester of my third pregnancy. Coming onto the course, I felt quite nervous about giving birth again but Jessie helped me feel safe, calm, empowered and even excited about the birthing process. The course covered a lot of interesting and useful information, presented really clearly, and mixed with experiential exercises (e.g. breathing techniques), a good dose of humour, and time for chat between group members. Jessie created a safe and supportive learning environment that covered a range of birth settings (e.g. hospital, birth centre, home birth) and also shared really useful additional resources to address any questions we had. I would highly recommend this course. Thank you so much Jessie for all your wisdom, encouragement and care, it is truly appreciated.

My power hour with Jessie was invaluable in helping me prepare emotionally and physically for my first birth. We used the hour to go in detail through my birth preferences and Jessie gently prompted me to consider aspects I’d not given much thought to so that I came away feeling more knowledgeable and empowered. I would wholeheartedly recommend you talk to Jessie to help you prep for your birth! Sadly my midwife appointments often felt rushed and left me with more questions but this time with Jessie really boosted my confidence and got me in the right headspace to welcome my little boy!
